What the managed fee covers
A per-endpoint monthly fee covers the services in your plan, including network management and the full Sentry security platform.
Separate costs
What to budget alongside it
Licensing, hardware, storage and any work needed to bring your network onto the security and reliability standard every CMO client runs on are separate from the monthly managed fee.
Getting started
Assessment before managed services
We learn about your business, review the network and propose the work required before you move onto a managed plan.

From first conversation to fully managed.

We take the time to understand your business, show you what your network needs and agree on the work together before managed services begin.

  1. Free initial consultation

We spend one hour learning about your business and its IT concerns. There’s no cost and no obligation.

  2. On-site IT review

We visit your location for a free, one-hour review of your network. If a more detailed assessment is needed, we discuss the scope and cost with you first and proceed only with your approval.

  3. Proposal, approval, and remediation

You review a written proposal listing the work needed to bring your network onto the standard every CMO client runs on. It includes itemized labour, hardware and licensing pricing, plus a timeline with milestones and dates. If you accept the proposal, we convert it into an estimate with matching scope and pricing for your approval.

The approved work includes reviewing and verifying backups and configuration, and is billed on a time and materials basis, separately from your monthly managed fee.

  4. Transition to managed services

Once that work is complete, your business moves onto a managed plan with network management and the full Sentry security platform to help protect your business and respond to threats. Both plans use a 12‑month agreement with 30 days’ written notice.

Both plans include the full Sentry security platform and support from the same senior team. Complete adds extended support and the assurance services listed below.

Prices are in Canadian dollars, per endpoint per month. An endpoint is each laptop, desktop, physical server or virtual machine we manage. Five-endpoint minimum; volume pricing at 100 or more endpoints.

Every managed system needs Microsoft 365 Business Premium, because its security features are part of how we protect your business. You buy it directly from Microsoft. Hardware, backup hardware, cloud storage, mobile device management, onboarding and project work are quoted separately.

Both plans include incident response; forensic investigation, legal and breach-notification support, and major rebuilds are quoted separately.
