Built for reliability. Not complexity.
Business networks and Wi-Fi designed, installed and managed on commercial-grade Ubiquiti UniFi equipment, with network segmentation, firewall management and 24/7 network monitoring.
Built to run without you.
The best network is the one nobody notices. It’s fast, it’s reliable, and it doesn’t require your attention. That’s what we build.
We standardize on Ubiquiti UniFi for the business networks we manage: the gateway and firewall, the switches, and the Wi-Fi access points. Everything is managed through the UniFi Network application with secure remote management, so our team can see, adjust and troubleshoot your network without waiting for a site visit. One platform means deep familiarity, faster troubleshooting, and the same standards at every site we support, instead of a patchwork of consumer routers and unmanaged switches.
We supply the UniFi equipment for your network and keep a stock of it on hand, because a failed switch or access point shouldn’t leave your team waiting on shipping. Downtime costs money, and a spare on the shelf is the fastest fix. If you prefer to buy your own equipment, we also manage UniFi gear bought directly from Ubiquiti Canada. Equipment bought through other channels can be grey-market stock, so we don’t service it. The network is one part of keeping your business running; the servers and data behind it are protected by backup and disaster recovery.
Every new network or upgrade starts with a proper design: floor plans, Wi-Fi coverage mapping, cable runs, network segments, and firewall rules documented before a single piece of hardware ships. This isn’t over-engineering. It’s the minimum standard for a network that won’t cause you problems, and it means the installation goes to plan.
Network segmentation (VLANs) is set up by default. Guest Wi-Fi doesn’t touch your business systems. Cameras, printers and other connected devices sit on their own network. Phone and Microsoft Teams calls get priority so they stay clear when the network is busy. In retail and hospitality, that keeps guest Wi-Fi away from point-of-sale terminals; in manufacturing, it keeps shop-floor equipment apart from office computers. These aren’t corporate luxuries. They’re basic hygiene that many small business networks are missing, and an important part of managed cybersecurity.
For remote and satellite-connected sites, we extend the same managed network over Starlink and other satellite links. Bandwidth shaping, per-device fair-use policies, billing plan optimization, and auto top-up controls help a limited connection deliver predictable performance at a predictable cost. Remote sites, construction job sites and work camps are monitored and managed the same way as an in-town office. Learn how we manage Starlink deployments.
Network management is part of every managed plan. Once your network is in place, it’s monitored 24/7. Switch failures, access point problems, and internet outages alert our team, not yours. On every plan, our engineers are alerted to critical outage alerts after hours and act on them. General support and routine changes are handled during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 4:30, with a response within one hour. We also set performance baselines, track usage trends, and plan capacity upgrades before bandwidth becomes a bottleneck. The same team looks after your computers and users through managed IT support, so a network problem and a laptop problem aren’t passed between two companies.
What’s included in network management.
Wi-Fi coverage mapping, floor plan analysis, and cable path planning before any hardware is ordered.
Separate network segments for business systems, guest access, connected devices, phones, and management traffic.
Stateful inspection, geo-blocking, intrusion detection and prevention, and rule sets maintained and reviewed on a regular schedule.
UniFi access points with central management, smooth roaming between access points, and band steering.
24/7 network monitoring, usage baselines, and capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks.
Starlink deployment and management, bandwidth shaping, billing optimization, and cost controls for satellite-connected communities and work camps.
Frequently asked questions.
Usually, yes, and it doesn’t have to start with a new installation. We start by finding the cause: dead zones where coverage doesn’t reach, devices that don’t roam cleanly between access points, interference from neighbouring networks or the building itself, access points overloaded with too many devices, or ageing equipment that can’t keep up. Then we fix what can be fixed with configuration changes, add or move access points where coverage is thin, and upgrade equipment that has reached the end of its useful life. For a new client, this is part of bringing your network under management, so the first step is a discovery call.
Not necessarily. If your network already runs on UniFi equipment bought directly from Ubiquiti Canada, we review it, document it, and bring it under management. UniFi equipment bought through other channels can be grey-market stock, so we don’t service it. Networks built on other equipment are handled case by case. For example, if you’re partway through a term with another vendor, we can manage what you have until that term ends and then move you to UniFi.
Business-grade switches and access points typically have a five to seven year lifecycle before they fall out of vendor support and stop receiving firmware updates. We track hardware age across every managed site and include replacement planning in quarterly business reviews, so unsupported equipment doesn’t catch you by surprise and upgrades can be budgeted ahead of time.
VLAN segmentation divides your physical network into separate virtual networks. Your point-of-sale terminals, security cameras, guest Wi-Fi, and workstations each operate on their own segment. If a device on one segment is compromised, it’s much harder for an attacker to move through your network to your business-critical systems. Segmentation is a standard recommendation in security frameworks such as the CIS Controls, and many cyber insurance questionnaires ask about network segmentation.
Yes. We manage multi-site networks across Northern BC, including remote offices, work camps, and satellite locations. Every site gets the same monitoring, segmentation, and security standards, all managed remotely through the UniFi Network application. Sites are connected to each other through secure tunnels with central policy management.
Consumer routers and access points often lack network segmentation, central management, firmware update controls, and the capacity needed for a busy office. Business-grade equipment such as Ubiquiti UniFi provides segmentation, remote monitoring, Power over Ethernet for access points and cameras, and manufacturer warranties, and our spare stock means a failed device can be swapped quickly. The upfront cost difference is modest, but the reliability and security gap is significant.
