Your Microsoft 365, properly managed.
We set up, migrate, secure and manage Microsoft 365 for your business: licences, user accounts, email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. Automated monitoring of 107+ security configurations alerts our team when a setting drifts, and we correct it.
Microsoft 365 is powerful. Misconfigured, it’s dangerous.
Microsoft 365 has hundreds of security settings. Getting them right once isn’t enough. Keeping them right is what separates managed from neglected. We handle the setup, the move in, the security and the daily administration, so your team can simply use it.
We start by finding your security gaps.
Most Microsoft 365 tenants we onboard have security gaps. Not because anyone was negligent, but because Microsoft ships defaults optimized for ease of use, not security. Legacy authentication enabled, no conditional access policies, no mail flow rules for spoofing, shared mailboxes with direct login. These are the gaps attackers exploit.
Moving to Microsoft 365 is planned for you.
If your email is with another provider, or you want some or all of your shared files moved off a file server, we plan and carry out the move into Microsoft 365: mailboxes, calendars and contacts into Exchange Online, shared files into SharePoint and Teams, and personal work files into OneDrive. We handle the domain cutover, apply the security baseline before anyone signs in, and show your team where everything now lives. Migrations are quoted as onboarding or project work. If you have your own IT team and want a plan they can carry out, our IT consulting service provides migration advice.
Your tenant is hardened to a documented baseline.
We harden every tenant against a documented security baseline aligned to CIS Controls v8 and Microsoft’s own security recommendations. Conditional access policies require multi-factor authentication (MFA) on every account. Legacy authentication is disabled. Mail flow rules block spoofing. External forwarding is locked down. Sign-in and email protection then continue as part of our managed cybersecurity.
We help you choose and set up the right licences.
Microsoft 365 Business Premium is required on every managed system, because it includes the identity and device security features, like conditional access, that our baseline uses. You buy it directly from Microsoft. We help you choose the right licences for each person, and once you give us admin access with your consent, we set them up and assign them. Regular reviews catch licences you’re paying for but no longer use.
Settings stay right after setup.
The initial hardening is only the start. Keeping it in place is the ongoing work. Automated monitoring checks 107+ security configurations and alerts our team when one drifts, and we correct it. A licence change that quietly turns off a security feature, or an admin who opens external sharing on a SharePoint site, gets flagged and put right. Your security posture is reviewed with you at every quarterly business review.
Shared files have a clear home.
For files your team works on together, SharePoint and Teams are the right home. Everyone works from the same version, access follows each person’s role, and sharing outside the business follows rules you set. Each person’s own work files sit in OneDrive. Data that is better kept on site, because of how sensitive it is or how it is used, can stay on a file server at your office, and we manage both side by side. We plan the SharePoint structure around how you work, whether that’s client matters for legal and professional offices or job files for construction and trades. For large archives that don’t need to be in the cloud, we install and manage a Synology NAS for bulk storage as part of managed IT support. It also holds the on-site copy of your Microsoft 365 backup.
Your Microsoft 365 data is backed up separately.
Microsoft keeps Microsoft 365 running and its storage resilient, but under the shared responsibility model, protecting your data is up to you. A deleted mailbox, encrypted OneDrive files or a wiped SharePoint site can be gone once Microsoft’s retention window passes. We add two independent layers: a cloud backup three times a day covering Exchange mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, and an on-site copy on a Synology NAS. Backup data is stored in Canada only, which supports your PIPEDA and BC PIPA obligations. Retention and recovery are covered on our backup and disaster recovery page.
Day-to-day administration is handled.
Beyond security, we look after Microsoft 365 day to day. New employees start with the right licence, mailbox, groups and security policies on their first day. We manage Exchange Online, shared mailboxes and distribution groups, SharePoint sites and Teams governance. When someone leaves, offboarding removes their access properly and keeps their mailbox and files available to whoever takes over. All changes documented, all requests tracked.
Ready for Microsoft Copilot when you are.
Microsoft Copilot works from the files, email and chats each person can already access, so tidy permissions and a well-organized SharePoint matter before you turn it on. Basic guidance on choosing AI tools and using them well is included for managed clients. A larger Copilot rollout, with planning and training, is advisory IT consulting work, scoped and quoted separately. See AI enablement for more.

Frequently asked questions.
Yes. For managed clients we set up and harden Microsoft 365, help choose and assign licences, manage email, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive day to day, and handle new starters and departures. We also move businesses into Microsoft 365 from another email system or a file server, quoted as onboarding or project work, and back up your Microsoft 365 data independently of Microsoft.
Many of Microsoft 365’s security features aren’t turned on by default. Conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication, sharing restrictions, and audit logging all need to be configured and maintained. A managed provider handles tenant hardening, licence lifecycle, user onboarding and offboarding, and ongoing configuration drift monitoring. These are tasks that need dedicated attention to get right and keep right.
At minimum: multi-factor authentication for all accounts, conditional access policies restricting sign-ins by location and device compliance, external sharing restrictions on SharePoint and OneDrive, unified audit logging, and mailbox forwarding rules that block auto-forwarding to external addresses. We configure all of these and more as part of our standard Microsoft 365 tenant hardening.
Mailbox migration, data transfer, the domain cutover, security hardening and user training. The effort depends on how much data you have and where it’s coming from: on-premises Exchange, another cloud provider, a legacy email service, or a file server. Migrations are quoted as onboarding or project work, so you know the scope before it starts.
Lifecycle management covers everything from provisioning a new user account with the correct licences and security policies on day one, through ongoing licence optimization, to secure offboarding that includes mailbox conversion, data retention, licence recovery, and access revocation. We handle the full process so nothing falls through the cracks.
